KENNY NEAL

JUNE 8 2010 - 10 PM

Kenny Neal was born in New Orleans and began making music with his father (blues harmonica player Raful Neal) at a young age. Buddy Guy recruited the multi-instrumental "swamp blues guitarist" at the age of 17 and took him on tour as his bassist. After a lot of work and experience, Neal was dubbed *one of a mere handful of truly inventive young contemporary guitarists" by the Chicago Tribune. Kenny Neal is an outstanding talent with a "bright contemporary feel" & "swamp sensibility" that keeps him a part of the who's-who of the blue scene..
