Featuring Karl Schwarz and Gregory Morgan, the New Moon Blues Band is built around the sounds of traditional blues and America spirituals. Formed in the spring of 2016, they have developed a rich, full sound that stays true to the early acoustic musics they champion. In an effort to recreate the emotion and feeling of the early 1900’s, the band performs the music of artists such as the Reverend Gary Davis, Robert Johnson, Sam Chapmon, Mississippi John Hurt and the like.
